We're going to explain the difference between the original HEIGH10, the HEIGH10+, and the HORIZON10 and the features that each radio offers so you can understand which one's best for your lifestyle and the way you use your vehicle.
HEIGH10
Starting with the original HEIGH10, this is a 10-in touchscreen which touts the resolution of 1024x 600 which is a large canvas for showing a backup camera or a front camera or blind spot cameras.
We have four camera inputs on this head unit which is a great addition to increase your visibility around any type of vehicle so whether you're towing a trailer down the road or navigating parking lots at school or at work an everyday life, the HEIGH10 is a great upgrade for just about any vehicle. It mounts in a standard double din form, so it fits at just about any dash kit out there on the market.
Now when it comes to mounting the HEIGH10 display to the brain of the radio, the HEIGH10 does have two mounting positions available. There's a straight vertical position and you can also mount the display on a pitched angle position. Select the angle that works best for your vehicle.
Know where you're going and keep your hands on the wheel with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay via a wired connection through the HEIGH10. Many of our vehicle specific integrated solutions will connect the HEIGH10 USB ports to the factory USB connection, which makes that wired connection extremely accessible.
HEIGH10+
If you're the kind of person who gets tired of plugging your phone in every time you get just to use Google or Apple Maps, then the HEIGH10+ is a great solution for you. Featuring many of the great features that the HEIGH10 offers, the HEIGH10+ offers the wireless connectivity of wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, so you've got your maps on this beautiful screen without having to plug in your phone.
At 10.1-in and HD 1280x 800 resolution, this is a massive display that is optically bonded so it looks fantastic and it's very responsive. Once you get your hands on this one piece machined aluminum knob and these capacitive touch buttons, you're going to love the refined feel of the HEIGH10+.
For the music lovers out there, the HEIGH10+ has an HD radio tuner built in so you're going to get more local stations crystal clear sound with no static and no subscription fee.
If you're looking to add some visual flash to your vehicle while upgrading your radio, why not add some Stinger ENLIGHT10 Dynamic LED lighting? The HEIGH10+ has a direct plugin for the controllers for all our ENLIGHT10 lighting kits. With the app on the home screen, you can control the colors of your lighting directly from this huge touchscreen display. You can get the same control of your ENLIGHT10 lighting from the HEIGH10 but you do have to purchase the cable separately.
The HEIGH10+ also offers additional installation flexibility because it can be mounted in a single din chassis or a double din configuration. When it comes to the HEIGH10+ and the HORIZON10, the bracket's been redesigned so we have a lot more adjustability. When we remove the set screws, we can basically choose whatever angle fits best for our vehicle then lock in the set screws there.
HORIZON10
If you're the type of person who finds their vehicle off-road maybe the top off the doors off in the mud and the rain, then look no further than the HORIZON10. This feature packed head unit has an IP65 rated weather-resistant display. It's rugged and ready to go adventuring wherever you find yourself.
You've got all the wireless connectivity of the HEIGH10+ with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
For the audiophile who wants the best sound possible or the person who just has to have it all, the HORIZON10 is definitely our most feature-rich head unit. It features a fiber optic output for connection to an AudioControl DSP or amplifier. The HORIZON10 has an AudioControl DSP app built in that allows you to control AudioControl DSP units directly from the head unit.
The HORIZON10 also has a direct plugin for adding a SiriusXM tuner so when it comes to SiriusXM high-end system expansion, the TOSlink output is going to give you noise-free digital signal for the best sound possible.
No matter which infotainment system you choose, you're going to get multiple camera inputs, HDMI connectivity, USB inputs, Bluetooth hands-free, Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, and lots of other fantastic features.
